Teaching and education

Teaching volunteers will be split into a group of one, two or 4 and be placed in a bamboo hut in the village close to the school where you will be teaching. Lodging is simple in a bamboo hut. A single lodging is provided for long term teaching volunteers and couple lodging is also available.

Foods for breakfast and dinner will be prepared and served by the host family and lunch will be served at the school where you are teaching.

Short term volunteer program:      one week to one month
Long term volunteer program :     one month to one year
Teaching per week           :   Monday to Friday
Teaching per day            :   5 hours a day
Funding the project         :   200 US$ per week

200 US$ per volunteer for one week ( lodging, food and drinking water )
400 US$ per volunteer for two weeks( lodging, food and drinking water )
600 US$ per volunteer for three weeks( lodging, food and drinking water)
800 US$ per volunteer for four weeks ( lodging, food and drinking water)

This "Volunteer for free" program is for individual, a couple or a group who wants to collect donations from the people, families and relatives for the poor and less fortunate hill-tribes here before coming to volunteer. The program goes like this: If you can collect donations or raise funds three time more than your weekly expense ( weekly cost of food and lodging ) you shall volunteer for free. But if you only raise money two times, your weekly expense will cut down to half. Check it out below.

There are 3 hill tribe primary schools in the hills and the kids from near and far villages go to these schools respectively. There are around 100 kids in each school. Citizenship is greatly lacking in the communities as they can't fight for their own basic human rights due to lack of education. And the communities are discriminated and marginalised by the local Thai society. To reverse this situation we are now educating the new generation as a Chinese saying goes "teach a man how to fish for his life instead of giving him a fish everyday"

We warmly welcome volunteers who are interested in bringing equal footing and human rights among human beings. And also volunteers who are interested in making new generations for better communities by educating that can be done either by teaching or sponsoring. Volunteers who are interested in teaching will be assigned to teach in one of these hill tribe primary schools up in the hills. You can be here for a short or a long term volunteering. Volunteers can teach one of these subjects: English, Maths, Computers and Health. We here kindly ask every volunteer to fund the project. School kids are in great needs of books, pensils, pen and some other learning materials.
