There are at least 3 hill tribe kids out of 4 in a family that can not go to school simply because parent can not afford and that very lucky kid goes to school but has to drop out after grade 6 or 7. Only very few kids are lucky enough to finish high school. After high school college education is something they can not really think about for two main reasons. One is for lack of financial assistance and the other is lack of citizenship because normal college degree requires citizenship. But once financial assistance is secured lack of citizenship is no longer a problem since vocational colleges require no citizenship to study. In fact these days degrees are not very useful as there are tons of degree holders without jobs and tons of handy people who hold better jobs and earn more money. So once financial assistance is secured we send our hill tribe students to vocational colleges to study electrics, computer hardware, machinery, and many more. These vocational courses are handy and reliable. The learners can easily find a job and earn money. Even though you can not change a world you can change a life here.
