‘Where there is no doctor' in the hill-tribes is a volunteer run, non-profit medical social organization in Thailand helping the poor, underprivileged and marginalized hill-tribe communities of Northern Thailand.
Working and volunteering primarily in two sub-districts of Chiang Ria, the organization moves from village to village giving free medical treatment, building toilets and clean water supply, and do many other social activities. Through our continued efforts, the communities we serve are able to live a healthier and better quality of life.

All That Is Not Given Is Lost
"I volunteered with Dr. David and thought you might like a first hand account of what it's like. Before I arrived, I had obviously read about the work he's been doing with his organization (Where There Is No Doctor) and figured it was something I wanted to be a part of (after all I signed up to volunteer for three weeks), but it wasn't until I
actually met him and saw firsthand what he does that I was fully sold on what I was getting into. Unfortunately, as you probably know there are many organizations out there who, unlike Dr. David, use funds generated from volunteers and others for shall we say "less than honorable" purposes."
As a Chinese saying goes "Teach a man how to fish for his life instead of giving him a fish every day", you can send one kid to go to school for his life and the communities and for the better future world communities as a whole.
Here we would like to thank with all our hearts and souls to the great donors who have been with us all these years for your great supports. We can not find a word that can fully express our great gratitude and thankfulness to you all.
